Well folks this is going to be the first and unfortunately, last of the postings for our trip to the Kimberley.

I guess this photo gives you a clue!

As you can see the BT is a bit of a wreck!    We were 10 mins out from our planned first night stop on Sunday, when a road train (40-50 metre) long truck and trailers started to overtake us, we felt the van and then the Troopy being drawn toward the truck, as it passed the opposite happened and the caravan veered to the left, 5 secs later we found ourselves facing in the direction we had come from with the caravan on it’s side but the Troopy, which had stayed solidly upright throughout the excitement, was completely unscathed.

Oh and we were both fine too.
